Install Manager cannot find the required path for Photoshop 3D Bridge and other plugins.

Hello everyone, my name is Rich and I am relatively new to 3D computer programming.

I have no problem installing any programs except for Photoshop 3D Bridge, DSON importer for Poser, and GoZ for DAZ Studios.
I get the message from the DAZ 3d Insall Manager that the required paths cannot be found. When I went to the application tabs in the Install Manager and provided paths for Photoshop, Poser, and ZBrush I am still getting the same message! I have the latest version of DAZ installed and have registered it more than once. How can I resolve this puzzle?

It's because you have your Photoshop path listed as Daz Studio in your second screenshot. It's getting confused and thinking you have 2x DS 64bits installed. Remove the Photoshop path and re-do it as Photoshop. There is no version for CC yet in DIM so you may have to either a) list it as CS6, or b) install the bridge manually.

I'm not sure if either of those will work though, honestly. I don't have CC, but I've seen people posting about not being able to get the bridge to work properly with CC.

Vaskania, thanks for the reply! I tried changing path in various ways using various combinations, including the use of Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop C6, Adobe Photoshop C6 (64 bit) as the target. I also deleted one and both of Daz Studio targets all to no avail.

I would love to install the bridge manually but it automatically executes without letting me select a path. Is there anyway to get around the automatic execution of this file in order to place it in a folder manually?

Here a just a few of the application combinations I have tried; all without having any luck.

Your first image shows no Photoshop, and your second shows it listed as Daz Studio. When you add Photoshop, you have to change it to Photoshop, not leave it as Daz Studio. Your paths will obviously be different, but note the labels. My Photoshop is listed as Photoshop.

Is C:/Program Files/Daz 3D where the program executable is located, or is it in a DazStudio4 subfolder?

I just noticed in your first post that you tried to manually run the 32bit bridge installer, yet you have Daz Studio listed as 64bit in DIM. Be sure your Daz, Photoshop, and the bridge are all the same bit-depth. You can't mix/match 32bit with 64bit. They all have to be one or the other.

If installing through DIM, do not use the bridge labeled with Public Build. That's for beta.

It works! Thanks Vaskania for pointing out that out!

I needed to change the name of the path from DAZ to Photoshop as you suggested. I also changed the name of the target folder from Adobe Photoshop CSS to Adobe Photoshop CS6; hopefully this will not create any more problems.

I get an error saying that it is looking for a path for "DAZ Studio 4.x Public Build (64-bit)". What is "public build"? is that something other than the released version 4.6.1.17?

You probably downloaded the bridge for the beta. In DIM, there are 4 versions of the Photoshop Bridge. Anything that has "Public Build" on it is a beta itself or for the DS beta.

Search in DIM for "photoshop" and grab the version that doesn't say Public Build. Judging by your apps, you wan't the 64bit version, highlighted below.

It looks like you did the same with the dynamic clothing plugin. Get the version that doesn't say Public Beta (I don't own that, so I can't screenshot that).

Thanks, that explains it. I didn't know build=beta.

I didn't either until Fixmypcmike told me a while back. They really should rename them to read Public Beta instead.
