item switching script

I have been trying to have a script made for items can be changed to either show or hide at the click of a button. The script contains multiple items for example 10 different pairs of shoes. I have a script written for me but the problem was it only worked on one G8 character you were not able to select any G8 character in the scene and apply the shoes to that particular character. It was pointed out to me that this is a slight change that is needed in the script to apply the action to any character, (I believe selected), in the scene and not just the one character, however, the person that was helping me write the script is unavailable. and I haven't been able to change that. Now that I have tried the script again it doesn't seem to be working now and I am guessing the reason is that we originally had it programmed to a character in a certain scene in since I open a new scene that character is not in it anymore I might have renamed the G8 character if anyone can help me to adjust the script so it works properly I am more than willing to pay for the help. I am not able to write any code myself so any suggestions that you may be able to give me will be greatly appreciated but I would still have to find a person to help me with the script. I thought the best way to be is to send someone the script to send somebody the script but I never have figured out how to make an attachment here at the Forum so if you would like to have the script please explain to me how to attach it here or I can simply give you my email and we can exchange it that way too. This type of script brings daz to a whole new level of fun as there is no need to delete or hide previous items and enables the user to breeze through accessory choices.
