Doing a full clean install

...OK beginning the big clean re-install of all Daz content through the DIM. and have a couple questions ot make sure I get this correct as the last time I built my library/runtime setup I first started with the old Bitrock installers as the DIM wasn't yet available .  So about half the content used old installers and everything that I purchased later was installed with the DIM (really messed with the database).

So on the Ready to Install tab, If I check the box that says "Delete package once installed", all that means is:

1. it will not create a backup of the installers on my drive.

2. I would be able to redownload the a content file later to re-install if I needed to (like if something gets corrupted), correct?

Since I am doing a complete clean install of everything do I need to also install the Valentina to Postgre conversion as well, or just the Postgre DB.  Also I take it installign teh DB would be advisable before installing any content/plugins, correct?

    1. Correct. Once installed, the .zip will be deleted. Even if you don't check the box, you can delete them manually (just the .zips, not the manifest .dsx, but they will be recreated at next refresh)

    2. Correct. As long as Daz 3D and the Internet are still around.

If doing a complete re-install of everything, you won't need to convert anything, just install the new PostgreSQL CMS. The conversion was to migrate the old Valentina DB to the new one, which everyone probably did once it came out, what, four or five years ago?

If you're still using the same computer, I would suggest resetting the database to clear out any lingering data.
