Saving a character with clothing

Is it possible to save a character including clothing as a character preset? Or do you have to save it as a scene?

    Character preset only saves morphs and materials for the selected figure. If you want a character with clothes you should save a scene subset.

    The advantage of a Scene Subset over a Scene is that you can select what you want to save. For instance you can skip cameras or light settings you may have used for test renders. Or you can include a chair that you posed the character sitting on.

    And when you merge in the Scene Subset, it won't overwrite your Render and Environment settings like a full scene can.
