Surface Group Appearing in Surface Pane, But Not Geometry Editor

Okay. I recently started working on a new costume, and wound up having to remove a section of it when I ran into problems. However, one of the surface groups from the removed section is still showing up in the Surfaces tab, even though it's nowhere to be found in the Geometry Editor. Any idea what's going on?

Here you go. Also, as a test, I tried creating a Frames Surface in Geometry Editor. It insists that there's already such a group. Does that mean that the Surface in question is hidden? If so, how do I unhide it?

Had the item been saved as an asset before the deletion? How did you reload it for the new session in DS - from a scene or a preset?

  • I saved it as an asset.

  • I meant to add: and did you resave it, with the same options, after the deletion or is this just a changed version in memory/in the scene file?

  • I resaved it.

Sorry, posted a reply that went with a different thread.

I'm not sure why this woudl be happening. Can you trigger it with a simple case (ideally just a modified primitive) or is it a random thing that affects only some models?

  • Actually, I managed to solve the problem by sending the outfit to Hexagon, then back into DAZ. Sorry for wasting your time.
