Looking for some help, I'm writing a screenplay for a full length animated film with anthropomorphic animals as the characters (For example the main character is a pig named Al)
I am the first one to admit creating characters is not my forte which is why I am looking individuals who feel that they have the talent to make a diverse number of anthropomorphic animal characters. To give you an idea of the needed diversity, in one scene there is a band comprised of an elephant, a rabbit, a donkey, a bull, and a stag.
I am not looking for a human with animal features but animals with human features. Essentially I would need the head and legs of the animal on a proportionate human torso with human arms (number of fingers depends on the animal in question.)
Even though this for an animated film I would prefer that the characters do not look cartoony, it is a drama with adult situations and is intended for a mature audience.

For pigs, you could look at Frankie (at Rendo, I think) or, maybe, the new (last few days) Hog V4 and Hog M4 products at Philosopher's Egg.
Depending on the figure you use and animals you want, you can use Creature Creators products for Genesis or Generation 4.

Or with something like that

RawArt (here on DAZ3D) and Philosopher's Egg (on his own site) are best vendors for that sort of things, but Philosopher's Egg characters are mostly Generation 4.
Also there are several useful morphs for legs, for example, you can get from DarioFish if you use Genesis

You'd have pretty much mix and match morphs (look at those morphpacks as on toolkit, not as on finished result) but you can create a quite wide variety with what exists.

Except the turtle dude I think I have all of those ... ;)
JoeQuick's morphs for Genesis are also very, very good

Some of them (Duckies and Mouse in particular) will require more work to get more realistic, but others are good straight out of box, I think.
This will be a good start; off the top of my head I know I will need at least at least two dozen different kinds of animals. Thinking about, working with morphs would be better, already rigged so .bvh files will work, clothing will fit better, and they should have good lip-synchronization which will look more natural during one of the three musical numbers.
Not to worry about what generation I am going to use (Probably Generation 4) I intended to tweak the resulting .avi from the render in several programs to give it a look like it’s an animated movie from the late 60s or early 70s (The film is set in spring of 1968)
My favorite pig is the Big Pig. But based on the donkey, bull, and stag you might look into Melody and Micah for Aiko3 Hiro3.
Have you checked out Cherry and Satyress from Pinin ? http://poser-outerzone.com/index.html Look in the freebies. There are also things on ShareCG for some of his characters.

The Generation 4 has an addon pack http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-2-creature-creator-add-ons for horns, hooved feet, pawed feet, different styled tails, and textures. Does anyone know of anything similar for Genesis?
