Installing aniMate 2 questions and problems.

I have just purchased aniMate 2 on my Mac for Daz Studio 4.10.0.123. I noticed after purchase that it is a 32 bit version and I am running a 64 bit computer. I don't see why the 32 bit would be an issue but I am not sure.

However, until now, even after entering the serial number, it is not showing up in my Daz program. Only the Lite version is showing up in the panes.

 I was under the impression that aniMate2 was already installed but needed a serial number to activate it but I also found a free standing installation for aniMate 2 DS3 32 bit as well ????? This would not install either.

In the "About Installed Plugins" it does show that it is loaded but whenever I review the serial number which I have entered numerous times only the first part shows followed by a series of Xs ??????

 I have restarted Daz Studio a few times but that makes no difference.

This is all quite confusing.

 I would early like to know how to fix this problem as I am in the middle of a heavy duty project.

    Yes, you just need to enter the serial number to get AniMate 2 instead of Lite  -the opening sequence plus Xs is a palceholder to show which serial needs to go in the box, if the code had been accepted then after a restart the box would vanish. The version you are trying to install is for Daz Studio 3, hence not finding the path. Have you entered the serial number and restarted DS? If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the Daz studio application - it's possible that something has been overwritten with an old, and non-functional in the new version, file and that that is causing your issue.

    I am having the same problem.  No where on the purchase page does it state that it doesn't work with mac 64 bit version.  I input my serial number on my mac, shut down and restarted, but none of the functionality of Animate2 is showing up.  If I re-install Daz Studio, does that mean I have to reinstall all the morphs and things I've purchased?  Will I lose the files I've created?  I can't believe we're the first users with this problem.

    Same here in 2020.

     

    I have Daz 4 and animate2 installed.  Serial is in about installed plug ins page, but no Animate 2 in panes or near timeline.  Still animate lite only 

    HELP!!
