Clothing on floor?

how do i get the clothing to just lay on the floor all flat like they've fallen down or been taken off and tossed on the ground?

  • One way would be dForce, but you may need a dForce enabled garment for that or know how to 'dForce' a garment.

Or you could buy this, instesd: https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-laundry to save time.

    Load a clothing item.

It is most easy if the item is preparred for dforce. If not apply dynamic dforce modifier. Some clothing will handle dforce bad, and migth explode or cause weird artifacts.

Move your clothing above where you want it dropped.

    Simulate!

I recommend using timeline, as it gives much better options for control.

There are more than one way to start a simulation: open the 'Simulation Settings' panel and there's the blue 'Simulate' button at the top-right, or just right-click (for Windows) on the 'Simulation Settings' tab, and select 'Simulate' which has a small image of a bunch of gears beside it.

Edit for spelling... cool bad eyes!

Window > Panes > Simulation Settings

That is also where you can change from 'current frame' to 'animated'.

I recommend docking it somewhere for esay access
