Dual GPU - Only one being used

I have two video cards installed (not using SLI connection). They are a GeForce GTX 1080 Ti and a GeForce GTX 1070.
Within DAZ, I do see both listed under Render Settings > Advanced tab and do have both selected.
However, when I have Task Manager open during a render and watching the Performance tab, I do see both GPUs listed but only the GTX 1080i is showing any activity.
The GTX 1070 does work. I have had it in the 1080 Ti slot before.
Any thoughts as to why the 2nd card (GTX 1070) is not being utilized? I thought from reading the forums that you should not have the two cars connected via SLI.

Don't use the task manager for GPU activity. I have a 2080 TI and 2 GTX 970's and saw the task manager was not showing any activity in the 2 970's. Just as a test, I turned off both 970's and saw rendering was 40% slower with only the 2080 ti running. Added back a single 970, and the rendering speed improved by 20%. Added back the second 970 and render speed was 40% faster than just the single 2080 Ti.
Try rendering something with and without the 1070 active. Rendering should be faster with the 1070.
You could also Download MSI afterburner and click the GPU tab and select the 1070. It should show the 1070 reving up and getting hotter when rendering.
Thank you mechengineer97!! That MSI Afterburner did show the 1070 was working at 99%. Figures a Windows application would not work. :P
