Hi! I am a newbie ;) please help me with this project.

I would like to know if there is any way to put a face and arms and legs on this bottle, preferably a g3 or g8 model
Thank you for taking the time to help me.

  • Do you want to give the bottle face, arms and legs to anthromorphise it (like a magical cartoon bottle character), or you want disparate parts in a bottle (like a wicked sorcerer's lab or serial killer's lair)?

Ah,  do you want to turn that into a character with it's own arms and legs so it can run around, or do you want to put a character inside it ?

This is one I did  for a ten green bottles type render

Well, it's not likely the radius is going to be an exact match between the bottle and the Emotiguy but what you'd do is use the Emotiguy and change the surface materials on the Emotiguy to match the bottle. The Emotiguy is a freebie but I'm not sure if you must be a Platinum Club Plus member for it to be a freebie.

    Emotiguy

Here you can see too renders I made that demostrate how to use the Emotiguy to athropomorphize inanimate objects.

Hi! It is a good freebie, but i wanna be able to edit the face (type of ears,nose,eyes....) id like to know if is possible to make a genesis 8 or 3.

    Thank you !

  • I think adding a fae might be possibly only in post work (there are various ways people blend a face into an object, for example rendering in greyscale and then compositing using a light-dependent blnd mode such as screen or multiply).

Wouldn't Sim Tenero's Shape Reprojector do this?
I have it, but I'm not on my art computer right now.
If I remember, I've used it to put Genesis faces on coins.

If this is just for a single shot (or shots that don't involve lots of moving around in a set), I'd put a G8 into the bottle, scale up the face, downscale the body or even hide it. You could then use the G8 face to your liking.

If the bottle had sufficient resolution, yes it might well work for the face.
