Creating ERC for Daz 4.10 Pro

None of the info I'm able to find for ERCs match up with my version of DAZ... Can someone PLEASE either send me a link to current info OR type out a step-by-step?
THANK YOU

What are you trying to make and what is not working?
Property Editor that is referred to is now called Property Hierarchy.
Other than that, simply go to your parameters pane, right click on the property you want to use as a control. Make sure Edit Mode is checked on.
If you right click again, there should be an option for erc freeze. A dialog box will come up with choices for paremeters that you can control from the currently selected one. (The parameters have to be activated, on, to show up in the selection list.)
Hope this helps, I can post screen shots if I get time.
Also, have you seen this video?
thank you for your help. I'm still having an issue that is boggling my mind.
I seem to be following my directions correctly. I'm creating a tunic with 2 flaps on the front and 1 on the back (split with 2 sets of bones) Each set contains 4 bones.
I pull up the ERC Freeze dialog. Make sure all the effected bones are checked (they are) then I click "Create New" next to node. Which then pulls up the expected box to name it and color the dials and all. I hit accept.
The new control slider appears under the top-level "actor" section. I use this newly created dial and it works perfectly...
However As usual when I use the ERC Freeze, it resets all the first bones in the selected chain. So I got to each of the first and retype their correct Center/End points and orientations.
Then when I go Back to test the slider my flaps now stretch WAY out along that first bone.... Am I missing something that protects the defined fist points XYZ?
is there a combination of Check boxes I need to be checking under the ER Freeze Options page...
I notice 3 at the bottom Restore Figure, Apply Control Propery, Restore Figure Rigging...
I think I just got it. I checked Restor Figure and Restor Figure Rigging... but unchecked Apply Control Property. Now testing. Will make sure. Then post results
nope... when the dial is at 100% the first bones are at the correct orientation... but when I zero the dial the bones are misorientated... at the zero I again orientate the bones.. dial in 100% and bam stretched way out.
I'm watching your video to sse if it will help the bone issue
that video will be helpful for me in the future for sure... However I'm not moving the bones using the orientation... I'm using the parameter's translations to move (Like the dragon's tail tutorial) But something is reseting the first (root) bone in each chain. When I correct them it then stretches the first bone again.
I'm not sure, can you post screen shots to show what is happening? Are you sure you have ERC freezed (frozen?) the root bone?
Should there be a parent bone that the 4 sets be under? Currently I have them as children of th abdomen Lower. ... Should I make a parent bone named "Flaps" then have the 4 sets of bones off that? That was what I was going to try next before I went to lunch. I'll try this and if it doensn't work. I'll screenshot as much as I can to show you.
Make sure you memorise the rigging before doing anything else - that's needed for Restore Figure Rigging to work, and for Adjust Rigging to Shape.
Richard do you know of a page that will help me create an ERC? I'm following an old page that is both old and confusing. 3WC confirmed that "Property Editor that is referred to is now called Property Hierarchy." but Still piecing things together for me gives me no confidence that I'm making an ERC correctly.
Found the memorize. tried it and it worked... thank you Richard and 3WC for all your help
Great, glad you got it working. ERC is awesome!
