    Select them and you should find the Fit to button in General>Misc in the parameters pane, though if you have the base figure selected when you lod them most items will fit automatically. Fit "Item" to is also in the Viewport right-click menu.

    OK, I did that, and I have 'Genesis 3 Female' selected in Parameters>Fit to. I clicked that, and a window came up saying 'Fit 'Rocker Armbands' to: Genesis 3 Female, so I clicked 'Accept,' but nothing happened. Same when I used the Viewport right-click menu.

    Try starting again  -File>New, load Genessi 3 Female (which should then be selected as there was nothing else in the scene), then load the Rocker Outfit (there should be a Wearables preset that will load the whole lot in one go).

    That worked; thanks. 

    I stil can't always get items to load, though. I've been trying to put makeup on her, but even though I highlight her head, the makeup won't load.

    Which character set? Most of the Daz Name 8s use Diffuse Overlay for make-up, which won't show until you render (or use the Iray preview mode).

    It's Genesis 3.

    Jeane Make-Up 02 and Jeane Make-Up 03 apply visible effects for me, with the figure selected. Is that what you are doing?

    Yeah, it's Jeane Make-Up 02.

    Again, please post a screen shot showing what you have selected (Scene pane) while applying the preset.

    You have to have the clothing item selected in the surfaces tab and in your scene tab for many of the textures to load...
