Question about multiple GPUs

I'm giving some consideration to building out a dedicated workstation and was wondering how Daz handles multiple GPUs (Will be NVidia cards). Do they have to be bridged (SLI / NVLink, etc) or will Daz detect and utilize both cards on their own? Thanks.

There's no need to bridge, and in fact as far as I am aware nVidia still dvises agaisnt it for Iray (possibly depending on the card generation) - fortunately you can switch the bridge off if you don't want it for Iray but do for other things. The cards don't even have to match - Iray will use all cards that can hold the scene (on their own) and drop those that can't.
Mismatched cards work just fine. A friend saw me fiddling with Daz andgot intrigued. He's got a gaming rig I built for him a year ago and I gave him a 1050ti that I had from a build that never got picked up. So he's got a 1060 and a 1050ti. He's been agressively using Scene Optimizer to get his renders to fit on both cards and is getting good results.
I appreciate the response. Good info to know. Thanks.
