Zoom in and out from a building

It seems to take endless scroll of my mouse wheel to scroll all the way out from a group of buildings, to arrange elements, and then endless scrolls of the mouse wheel to get back to a room within one of the buildings... is there a faster way to zoom in and out of scenes??

Create a camera for the actual render and place it where it needs to be in the scene.
Use the perspective camera for all your scene navigation.
In the upper right of the viewport there are camera controls. The one that looks like a plus sign with a bracket at each corner will cause the camera to frame the selected item, based on the tool you have selected. So if you have the surface selection tool selected and you click on that button, the camera will focus on the surface you have selected. If you have the node selction tool selected, DS will frame the camera on what ever you have selcted in the scene, including different body parts of a figure.
The button below it will reset the camera to its original position. This is the easiest way to bring the perspective cam back to the center of the scene.
If you have a very large scene you are working on and you have specific points you need to keep going back and forth to, you could create nulls and place them where the main parts of your scene are and name them accordingly. Then just use the perspective cam to jump to each one by choosing it in the scene tab and then framing the cam on it.
Thanks for the info. Very helpful. This may take me some time to get down, still learning DAZ. I haven't even used the cameras yet, just the viewport view. So much to learn.
