Genesis 3 Clothes on Genesis 8 Figure

Hello,

I really want a hoodie for my Genesis 8 Male figures. So far all the clothing I have purchased has been for Genesis 8 Male and Female.

There is a hoodie called Mega Hoodie for G8F that is great but it doesn't fit my G8M figures. So the only other option I could find in the DAZ Shop is for:

Hoodie Outfit for Genesis 3 Male(s)

So my question is do the G3M clothes fit G8M? Or am I wasting my money by purchasing this hoodie for my figures.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

    G3M clothes will fit G8M figures, with a little bit of adjustment.

    First off, just fit the clothes to G8M and you should get a dialogue box asking you what figure the clothes were meant for. Select 'Genesis 3 male', and let Studio do the rest, though you may need to make adjustments, depending on the pose and figure shape/morphs.

    I hope that helps. And by the way, if you want your G8 (or any figure) to wear hair meant for another figure, then you need to 'Parent' it not 'Fit' it, then adjust scale and position.

    I had already purchased the Hoodie Outfit before your response, but good to know. It fits just fine. yes

    Also, good tip on the hair so I will keep that in mind.
