Do Geoshells have cutout opacity?

I'm trying to put white stars on a texture, I made a thread here https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/4333631

I'd like to add the stars as a layer on a GeoShell, but I can't find the cutout opacity function the set the image map of the stars. Not sure where I'm going wrong. Thank you!

Did you apply IRAY uber shader to the geoshell? If not, then the function is simply called Opacity instead of Cutout Opacity (but works pretty much the same way, I think.)

Thank you SO MUCH, that works! Before I did have opacity or opacity strength, but it wasn't working. Making it cutout opacity and setting the map works perfectly.

In the Surface pane the list of shader settings can be quiet cluttering. If I search for Opacity or Cutout Opacity I use the text filter box on top of the surface pane. Just make shure your mouse cursor stays in the text box while you type in "op" this will show you the Opacity or Cutout Opacity without scrolling.
