AMD Support?

Do we have any idea if and when Daz Studio will support AMD graphics cards? They're pretty good for content production these days it seems but as I understand it the only renderer that Daz 3D supports (IRay) is Nvidia only. I have a Threadripper build and have been trying out the software with CPU-only rendering. I'm curious if anyone can give me some idea of just how much slower this is than a mid-range graphics card. And also, as per thread title, if there's any AMD support on the horizon?
Thanks.

Daz supports a bunch of render engines not just iray. Iray is the default and the one with the most support by the vendors, and the only built in with GPU acceleration.
There is absolutely no news if or when Daz will support ProRender, which is AMD's answer to iray. or any other GPU accelerated render engine that is brand agnostic.
Your TR CPU is substantially slower doing a render than even a GTX 1060 based on the benchmark thread here on the forum.
The APIs are published, so there's nothing to stop a third party providing ProRender integration.
I hope AMD support will arrive too. I hate to be pushed to purchase a Nvidia card without a proper reason. I think daz should dump vendor specific rendering engines, and switch to a brand agnostic rendering engine. so we can use nvidia, intel, AMD graphics chips to rendering purpose.
