That Foxy Stripe Shirt product is only a shirt. The product contains only what is listed on the product page description. It does not include the character, hair or other clothing depicted in the promo images. The Teen Josie 6 Pro Bundle contains some hair products, but maybe not the one used by the artist who created the Foxy Shirt promo image.

Oh I see. I wonder where can I find that hair?

  • It seems to be Alanis hair by Fabiana over at Renderosity.

Sort of related (a bit) - I have bits of hair for various figures here and there, that I only "find" now and then when I'm looking for something else. One of the Josie ones comes to mind because it has a hairband or kerchief - or maybe it doesn't.

The point I'm trying to make is that to me, "hair" in general seems to be one of those things that are sorted in a funny way. I have seen very related products sorted by recognizable category (which is sort of good) but there is still some weighting given to VENDOR NAME which... ah, is probably kind of great for the VENDOR but also diverges from any sort of standard.

I think (I'm not sure) that some hair is sorted differently depending on whether or its a "DAZ" or a "Poser" version, and whether or not either one -- or both -- variants are present.

Some terms are bandied about quite a bit, for instance "Clothing" and accessories -- ergo DYNAMIC clothing gets its own top-level category in DIM, but poor old regular clothing = not so much. And then when you break it down is it sorted by sub-category, or (here we go again) -- alphabetically by the VENDOR NAME? Your guess is as good as mine.

Another example is "Environments" and I don't mean the "Environment" top-level Pane, either. For example I downloaded a new model that was on special the other day, very nice, except all the elements are kind of "glued together" in this one so tough luck if, like me, you really only wanted the fish. sad Anyway...

So instead of going into Architectures or Interiors, or the "Environments" (plural) category, this new product up and sorted itself into "Environment" SINGULAR category and the new P.A. on my drive has all this new space to him (or her) self, arrgh! And they get to move up one position higher with their thing!!!

I know I can manually sort things to myself to suit but again, "hair" seems to be a bugaboo and there's all these surprises lurking on my drive, waiting to be discovered (sort of thing). Sigh.

Thank you for your reply. smileyEven though I didn't yet encounter any lassies on my model's hairdevil. Things could get bad anytime since these new models all have their problems.devil
