Customizing DAZ's UI

I know how to add items to the menus and toolbars, but how do you add items to the left and right of the window. Like with the “City Limits” Workspace?

You can add a custom toolbar. Someone asked this about a month ago in the Commons, so instead of repeating it all here, here's the link to the thread:

Create a Custom Action for Folder?

To get it on the left or right, just drag the toolbar (any toolbar, in fact) to either side.
