Where is my 'shaping preset'?

As showing in the picture, there is nothing in the "shaping preset" pane, but I have just saved .duf shaping setting file for testing, in both the default C:\ storage area, and the F:\ folder which I installed the software, it is not appearing in the pane, what's the problem? Is my software damaged and need to be re-installed?

If I start a new file, don't load a figure, just directly open that saved shaping preset .duf file, it report an error and the log file is like this:

10:44.178 Invalid node selection for "preset_shape" type.

10:44.178 Error reading file, see log for more details.

  • Please put some clothes on the figure or switch to Smooth Shaded preview mode.

If you go to the folder you saved the preset to in Content Library>Daz Studio Formats is it there, and if so what content type tag does it have at top-right of the thumbnail?

Thanks. I thought what you asked is 'png'?

I can drag that shaping setting .duf file from folder to a DAZ Studio's figure, and it works, just does not present in the preset pane.

Is there anywhere to set the directory path for the 'shaping preset' to let it show up?

  • I meant in the Content Library pane, under Daz Studio Formats>some path.

    OK, it shows 'shape'.

  • I get that too - in fact almost none of the installed shaping prsets appear in the Shaping pane Presets tab, I'm not sure what is going on there (even with Filter By Context off). Please open a Technical Support ticket, it's possible this is a bug of some kind https://www.daz3d.com/help/help-contact-us

All right, thank you Richard, have just used that ticket to submit the problem.
