Shaders?

Hi

Why can't I see the shaders that I applied on a clothing piece?

There could be multiple reasons. Is that in preview or when you render? Some shaders are too complex to have the result apprearing in preview mode.

    Hi

It's in my preview. Isn't the shader like a texture? I want to export a piece of clothing as FBX but I want the shader included like a form of texture.

  • No, a shader is code that tells a particular render engine how to process the surace. The surface settings are the sahder to use and the values and maps asigned to it. In general surfaces/materials/shader settings do not transfer to other applications.

    I see. Thanks!
