Iray still image render with 4500 x 8000 pix

Hello
I started to render still images with size 4500 x 8000 pix, using iray.
It turns out, that the results are much more grainy then the renders at lower resosution.
Is there a way to get big images renderd out, at the same quality as smaller ones, so they dont look grainy?
Time does not matter in this case. Its a still image and i want the same quality on the big image.
At the moment, im rendereing with default settings.
Thanl you.

Increase the length of the render or the amount of light or adjust exposure and other settings in tone mappings. You might also consider switching to the beta and trying the denoiser built into it.
Thank you, kenshaw.
I will have a look.
Tonemapping is post processing for Iray, it won't help noise. One needs more time or more actual light (lumens) or both to eliminate noise. Image ersolution only matters in that larger images have more pixels to converge.
