Posing and Pinning

I can't figure out how to pin parts of the figure. There's this video that shows a guy pinning here. But it looks like he has a pannel at the bottom left with options for the Active Pose Tool. I'm using the Active Pose Tool bone icon thing but I don't have this options pannel in the Daz default interface. I went to Window > Panes to look for it but I don't see anything called Active Pose in the list. How do I open this pane so that I can drop a pin?

I can see there's a pin icon near that weird target thing in the upper left of my viewport. So I selected Genesis's head, collar bone, and hip individually with the Active Pose Tool and clicked that giant pin icon then check marked Pin Translation and Pin Rotation. It doesn't seem to do anything. When I move Genesis's shoulder, the head and hips move all over the place even though they are supposedly pinned. I've verified that Pin Translation and Pin Rotation are still checked. They are.

Does anyone have the recipe for how to pin parts of the figure for someone who's new to this interface? I'll need paths to find anything that isn't open by default.

I think the pane you want is "Tool Settings" - it's content changes according to which tool is active.

(Sorry but I don't know much about pinning though)

Ahh fantastic thanks! Just opened it. That looks like the thing. I'll give it a go!
