I wish. I had gotten into the habit of rearranging folders (and even worse, renaming them) in a way that made more sense to me. Back in the early days (before the Daz Studio Format was popular), my old Runtime library structure would have given Poser fits! But it worked for me and my brain.

Unfortunately I've noticed with DIM, Smart Content, and Categories, moving files isn't a very good idea. You can mess up your metadata database. And when you get an update via the Daz Installation Manager you have to remember where you had moved those folders to.

Untangling my mess now would be a nightmare though so I keep muddling through and probably forgetting about half of the content I've purchased.

i have my runtime folders for mostly daz stuff and addons, from over the many years....then i have one content folder, for just genesis,...then i have default daz studio content.. then i have a default poser folder, from all my upgrades, since poser 4  lol

 

now, before i recently got into genesis, i had some of my older figures in my runtime folder(the first one)

so i have about 3 copies of some figiures

so i just want to clean up the folders

add to that mess, while trying to manually fixed it, i accidentally moved a folder of vehicle props in the run time folder

i have too many old stuff to reinstal..stuff that can't even be found anymore

 

and i lost a lot by accidentally formatting my hard drive..i recovered the files, but many of them wont even open
