Hello, 3d artists!

Do I see correctly that the only cab here on Daz3D is a 1930 sedan? Wouldn’t that be relatively easy money for people who have a more recent car on the market platform .....?

On Renderosity, there is a 1970s style checkered cab:

and if you want to go more modern, there is also a package of modern-day cars with at least one prop so that a car can be converted into a taxi:

Apparently not since this has been asked for several times and not any hitting the store. See this thread https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/3319501/#Comment_3319501

  • Thanks for the feedback.

Everyday non-personal vehicals (i.e. for commercial and public service) are a real gap. There are a few good police cars / SUVs now but taxis, school buses (heck, any buses), tow trucks, hearses, fire trucks, etc are all seemingly non existent in the 3d Poser/Daz universe, or they are really old or toon versions.  I don't know how big the market would be but I do know that with seemingly 20 classroom / school hallways / school cafeterias / school gyms etc a school bus would maybe interest the same buyers at least. For example.

  • I am very much for Artistic Freedom. But there are moments when I'm shocked to see how this market platform sabotages itself! There are sectors where one could almost show an advertising poster: " Shop elsewhere!"

NO OFFENSE just saying. Because actually I am very PRO Daz3D. How to recognize true friends: they say things that you might not like to hear ....

Thank all artists for the great work!

You should shop elsewhere, it's very limiting to limt your choices to one website. there is no way a single site can offer everything a user might need. Thankfully there are other places to get 3D models and plenty of modeling software options to help in making the things you can't find. I am very pro DAZ also, but anti monopoly
