Last used Daz3D a couple months ago, version 4.10 64-bit for Mac, and everything was working normally.
Yesterday, after downloading about $100 worth of new stuff, I launched it only to get the dreaded Postrge error message. The only thing different on my computer, besides the new Daz content, is that my ISP gave me a new box and I'm now on what they call "Ignite" network which is 5G. I suspect this is at the root of the problem but have no idea how to fix it. I have no firewall turned on at my end.
Help!!!!

Well, I've fixed my problem and here's how. Not being techno at all I didn't want to open Terminal and get into all that so I started snooping around my file permissions and changing them to Read/Write for all users. Didn't actually help so I went looking for a backed up version of the old app and lo and behold in the PostgreSQL CMS folder on the backup drive, there was a folder called "docs" that was missing on the clean install i just did today. So, I copied it over and with fingers crossed, launched DAZ and it's working again. Hallelujah!!!!
