Is there a way to create a separate object from a surface (if it is daz matter - from a prop surface)?

Edit: I can export it to Blender, select the surface and then re-export it back to Daz in 2 batches, but can it be done in directly in Daz?

  • Yes, use the Geometry Editor tool to select the other surfaces (easiest in the Tool Settings pane), or to select the one you want and then invert the selection (right-click menu), then right-click in the Viewport>Geometry Visibility>Hide Seelcted, then right-click in the Viewport>Geometry Editing>Delete Hidden. One done you fcan either export as OBJ/reimport or you can use file>Save As>Support Assets>Figure/Prop Asset.

  • Super useful, thanks!
