I want to simply delete my account buit the barely readable captcha images simply locks me out from sending a support ticket.

Why do i need to send a support ticket to delete my account in the first place?

You get the captcha because you are not logged in to Zendesk  -the ticket handling system. If you look at top-right there should be a Sign In link, click that and it will usually recognise you without any further action so that you can submit your ticket.
