Iray Speckles

Hi I am quite new to Daz and I am quite disapointed with the quality of the Iray reder compaired to what I see in other people work, the scene has just one spot light.

  • Images removed for nudity.

Lighting an enclosed space is tricky as it means many areas rely on light paths that bounce off othe surfaces, rather than receiving direct light, and that slows the process down. Leaving it for longer will help (up the time and samples limits), or you can add extra lights to fill in the shadowed areas (and then adjust tone-mapping, especially gamma, to get the desired balance of tones) - one trick is to use ghost lights, planes with the emissive shader preset applied and a very low, but non-zero, value for Cutout Opacity.

Thank you, Would it also be better to use Iray spot lights?

Ghost lights are easier to hide, and don't show in reflections (which may be good or bad depending on your goal).
