Week 2 and 3 Tier 2 both weeks - Help Me Decide

I didn't want to sidetrack the other Powerup sale thread with these questions.

I already have V5 and M5 as included with my Carrara 8.5 Pro purchase.

I did not make either Tier in Week 1.
I made Tier 2 in Week 2, and think I will get V5 Pro.
I made Tier 2 in Week 3, and I am leaning toward M5 Pro.

But I have the basic V5 and M5 figures already. Might it be smarter for me to look at the second-tier (no pun intended) figures such as Aiko 5, Stephanie 5, David 5, or Freak 5 instead with the idea that I might end up purchasing V5 and M5 pro suites later or maybe "earning" just the Pro bundles in an upcoming sale?

Or is it just generally better to go in um, "ascending order," such as V5 before her sisters and M5 before his brothers?

    Although it might take a long time, I'd suggest to go through all bundles and see which products in which you like the best, and then select the bundle that has most of the stuff you like.
    Aiko's stuff might be not suitable for somebody who prefers to render people in more realistic clothes.
    Going in ascending order just for sake of having stuff you aren't going to use, is a bit of waste, IMHO

    Indeed, I see what you mean. I'll review the products included lists.

    Well, I meant "roughly in order but skipping those that have nothing for me". For example, I see a lot of potential in Steph and Girl and maybe not so much in Aiko. But I have to be careful even saying that because at first I didn't see a lot of potential in Josie, but after reviewing the stuff she came with, I realized that the figure offers a lot of possibilities, even if it's just some of the included clothing, hairstyle designs, shaders that could be used for other figures, or even if some part of the bundle never gets used in a final work but tweaks my inner muse and causes me to pursue an interesting path with one of the other figures.

    And somebody else once said "nothing is better than free" so at some point I'll probably end up with most if not all of them anyway.

    One thought I had was to maybe get Steph 5 now for free instead of Victoria 5 Pro (I already have V5 "regular") and likewise maybe David 5 Pro instead of Michael 5 Pro. Then just wait, see what the big Thanksgiving sales offer for V5 Pro Suite and M5 Pro Suite. In other words, take a chance-strategy on upcoming sales (which we all know DAZ has every holiday season anyway) to get the full suites for the two main characters.

    I mean, hey it's not like they're going to skip the holiday sales seasons, right? ;-)

    According to this, You already have the M5 and V5 PRO bundles. You might want to get one of the others.

    If you bought Carrara 8.5 Pro you do have the M5 and V5 Pro bundles!

    Wow, right you are and thank you! It's a very good thing I decided to ask here; you both saved me a lot of aggravation!

    The two pro bundles are in the Carrara store page but individually they don't show up as "already purchased" on the store pages for me, where many many other things that I got as part of a bundle do indeed show up as already purchased.

    DIM doesn't help much because it only shows Victoria 5, and legacy; nothing worded "pro". Similar for Michael.

    I am glad I decided to ask a question before doing something half-baked.

    So now it's Stephanie 5 which I will get tonight after work (hopefully the coupon code will work for me) and then either David 5 or Freak 5. I'll probably go for David 5 since I have Freak 4 from the last sale, but I have a few days left to decide; won't expire until next week.

    The store has a problem with showing Bundles bought inside Bundles (and Carrrara 8.5 Pro is considered a bundle).
    That is why, when you buy a Pro bundle, you don't see the Starter bundles as bought.
    A hint is looking at the Product library page for Carrara8.5pro http://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files/#prod_16777
    If you scroll down you see "This product is a bundle that contains the following product..." there are a LOT of products. :)
