IRay render keeps falling back to CPU regardless of size (FIXED)

I have a scene that has previously rendered fine, but now whenever I try to render it, it falls back to CPU before the first iteration.
The scene (optimised) is less than 2GB, I am using 2x1070s (8GB each) and I have checked in GPU-Z that there is more than enough free to run the render (3x over), restarted studio, cards, computer etc, all to no avail.
The only clue I have is that if I turn off one particular piece of hair, it will render fine, but that same piece of hair in that same scene rendered fine yesterday.

Did you recently update your video driver?
Ah yes I did, is the most recent GeForce driver causing problems?
Ok yeah that was the problem, I feel dumb, rolled back the driver and it works fine, I wish they wouldn't break stuff like that.
Nvidia Drivers are a pain. When I first got my 3 GTX970's and all the driver headaches that ensued, I vowed never to buy Nvidia again. Then my job required the use of iRay, and I had no choice but to get the 2080 Ti. The only driver I dare to use right now is from November. The latest one causes the main HDMI connection to only work with inputs at 30Hz.
