The textures and modelling are excellent. I hope they have several distinct material zones so I can use shaders to pimp them out even more. Thanks for making them dual-generational.

I could support you with a substance painter file so you can change all materials there. just PM me if you want it.

    They are lovely.

I don't think some in the community have anything against heels. If my girls are wearing pretty dresses I want them to have heels, but if they're in armor or in a scifi suit (where I have them running or doing action-type stuff), I usually want them to have flat shoes. LOL. It's just when they're ridiculous that some people don't appreciate the heels. :P Yours really look great tho.

That's very kind of you, but I've not yet reached that level of sophistication.

I don't like heals with armour and action-wear; those look excellent, however, and should be versatile any time a girl wants some ankle-breakers.

yeah, the community has nothing against heels in general, just when they come with outfits that are not practical with heels, LOL.

These are great. I prefer heels on my virtual (and real) women so I picked these up to show my support of more in the future. I do agree on the material zones, they need more options. I know SP likes to assign maps that define the materials like metallitcity instead of letting you create just material zones, but that is not helpful in DS and should be avoided IMO. Looking at these, there should be at least 5 material zones (heels, metal, insole, and 2 or more for the uppper material to show toes or not)

I'd also like to see some morph options like heel shapes/hieghts. I own all the heels from Arryn at Rendo, but it looks like they are moving on to clothing even though there are plenty more styles that haven't been done.

If you need ideas for the next project, I'd like to submit these and keep up the good work!

Ya I agree I added material zones on the next pair of heels I am working. Tho they can still be added if necessary and is quickly done.

I haven't added options like a plateau or thicker heel on purpose, the textures are getting stretched and ya I don't like that at all. Some people may don't care but I did put so much work in every polygon, I didn't want to mess it up :D thats why I added so many morphs, so they look nearly perfect on alot of characters.

So I am going to add material zones for the next pair of heels but I doubt I will add these kind of morphs.

and thanks alot for your suggestions, I like them :)

Ha! It makes me wince, and when I see women running in them, fear for their safety!

I've wishlisted; I'm sorry to say, that so late in the G8 cycle, I buy much, much less generation specific items.

That is an excellent policy which should be trumpeted in red bold type.

  • Very nice shoes indeed.

Here is an update for everybody who don't wanna wait. You get separated material groups and I added a template material for you, to tune the color you want them to be!

Thanks so much for this, it is very appreciated! I do get an error with finding textures. Seems it is looking for the H drive on the textures

No trouble at all, I appreciate the update. I am still getting the same error though.

Don't know if it's possible, but any chance of a new material zone for just the front tip so you can hide it and show the toes? Right now, that part is connected to part of the sole interior also

  • PrefoXPrefoX Posts: 240

hm strange you get the same error, it works for me >.<

and it would be possible, you can do do it too but I doubt it will look good. geometry editor -> mark the front -> assign new surface and hide it.

Thanks for the response. I'll try the DIM update to see if that is any different,

yeah, I tried the geometry editor long before the update you posted, was not a viable solution, thanks anyway.

You are awesome, that one worked perfectly! Thank you so much! yes

    Outstanding customer service!

  • Theese are great. I Prefer Heels on My Virtual (and Real) WoMen So I Picked These Up to Show My Support Of More in The Future. I Do Agree on the Material Zones, they Need More Options. I KNOW SP Likes to Assign Maps That Double The Materials Like Metallitcity Instead of Letting You Create Just Material Zones, But That is Note Helpful in DS and Should Be Avoided IMO. LOOKING AT THESE, THESE AT LEAAST 5 Material Zones (Heels, Metal, Insole, and 2 or more for the upppper I wish someone could have been great to dress them if they do Harness lingerie designs for women.
