Daz to Maya 2019 support?

Hello,

I was wondering when the Maya 2019 support will be added to Daz to Maya.

Just tested on 2019 and version is not supported :(

Thanks,

  • Yea same. Would appreciate any update or information

  • Fix. Use daz to maya for maya 2018. Save project with a folder FBX and export as fbx to have a start file.

close maya. Then open maya 2019. Open that same fbx file.

it is worth it if your serious about using maya to pay the 250$. It's the best maya ever.

or join animation dojo or similar online training to get maya for free as a student.

only bad thing aboUt daz to maya is it makes you use the humanik rig witch sucks for animation,  great for Mocap though.

    hope that helps

Hi. Can you try editing .pyc file in your Maya plug-ins folder ? (NOTE : backup your DazToMaya files)

1-) So, please open DazToMaya's file in your maya plug-ins folder in text editor : d2m.pyc (You will see the different compiled codes/characters dont worry)

2-) Ctrl + F (Search) and type in the box this "2018" (it would be on 1492th line.)

3-) Edit "2018" to "2019" or "2020" and Save the file. Try to open again.

NOTE : It works on Maya 2020
