Why am I getting Alert symbols on file names in Smart Content (all the files are 0 bytes)?

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, then reimporting Metadata, but still no love.
How did you install? Some things don't like zero byte files (and I think they are now meant to be replaced with none-zero files)
I have them on a few products here and there. Even some new products don't have the icons. I think you are suppose to delete the 0 byte icon files and then they will redownload. There is a thread somewhere that tells how to do it.
