No "shadow" menu in 3Dlight?

Last time I made a 3Dlight render, when I selected a light, under "parameters", I had a "shadow" menu with sliders such as "shadow intensity" (see attachment 1) . I'm making another now, and..no "shadow" menu (see attachment 2). I opened the previous one, and all the light I create in it have this "shadow" menu. Come back to the current one, and definitely no such menu for any light. How comes???

Ok, it seems that in fact, I *wasn't* in 3Dlight when I added my lights (I had added an Iray light that I thought to be a 3Dlight light, and it switched to Iray mode), and I got the Iray menu instead. Should have thought of that. So, problem solved.
