Daz to Maya | Expression blend shapes for animation ..

Anyone have any success using the DazToMaya tools or the Genesis 8 to maya tools to get everything including the expression faces morphs into Maya.

To be clear i mean the animatable expression face morphs, for example; smile, open mouth, open eyes, raise brows etc ...

As things are now, when i port characters over to Maya using the plugins, they seem to export the morphs relating to changing shape, for example ... make the nose bigger etc ... but doesnt port the expression morphs.

Also for clarity, this is for animation purposes, not a still / static pose. I understand i can just port over an OBJ, FBX etc with the expression; this is static only, not for animation.

The expression poses need to go into the blend shape editor for maya.

I'm guess expressions are not driven by blend shapes / morphs inside of Daz for Gen 8 .. given they have a bunch of bones in the face, i assume the expressions are bone controlled?  which would mean they need controls applying on the maya side through teh plugin.

Tried to contact the dev about this, but no response as yet.

Thanks
David

Hi, were you able to figure out how you were able to get expressions into Maya's Shape Editor? I am also coming up across this issue.
