Using your old preferences in DS beta public build

I just installed the new beta (which I didn’t even know existed until I saw it mentioned in a forum comment) but how do I use all my preferences from the regular version? I really don’t want to start customizing from scratch,,,

You can import the UI using http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/general_ui/copy_ui_from_channel/start - just drag the downloaded script into the Viewport of the version you wish to customise.

You can transfer content directory settings using http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/software/dazstudio/4/referenceguide/scripting/api_reference/samples/file_io/save_mapped_paths/start - drag the script into the version you want to copy from, it will prompt you to save a script, drag that script into the beta.

is this safe to use in 2021? are both those scripts updated and still good?

edIt: I ran both scripts.  They worked perfectly.  I can't believe it. They just worked without any problems, nice!
