content library alphabetical listing

I changed out my C: drive to an SSD. reinstalled DAZ Studio beta 4.11

I had it set up so that everything was listed under an alphabetical list, rather than by individual libraries. Can't figure out how to reproduce it

Anyone know how to switch your left side products panel to straight alphabetical?

In content library on left panel in Daz studio, I somehow had it set up so every item in content library was sorted alphabetically. Not by category or library/runtime, but alphabetically. Just had a list of A-Z, click on the letter, and any item/character was alphabetical in dropdown

The products list is alphabetical (except that isntalled items are listed before not installed). But your description isn't clear - by left panel do you mean the container List (the various folders - which I think defaults to the top of the pane), or something else?

I think that jmlazgar must have had their content categorized alphabetically, where each category was a letter of the alphabet and all files beginning with that letter were placed in that category. It is the only thing that makes sense to me based on what is being described, Richard. Re-installing DAZ Studio without the necessary steps to preserve the custom categories would explain why they were lost, no?

Reinstalling DS shouldn't touch the database - othrwise we'd have to rebuild after every update.
