How do the points vs products work

This is my first time with the PC anniversary sale - I'm trying to figure out the points and product ratio. My meter seems to be creeping along independent of product purchases; sometimes it doesn't even budge after a purchase. I've tried to get clarification from sales support but no reply yet.

Thanks!

You have to purchase products that are on the power-up page to get points.

    I have been.

If you view the Power-Up page in a different browser does it still not show all your points?

    Yes, it's the same thing.

Today, for 2 products and got 1 point. The number of points doesn't match the number of products. For week 3 there were 4 products I didn't get points for. Makes me wonder if there's some kind of formula they're using...

If you check this thread out, it tells you which products counted for points, and in which week they counted.

Which products did you buy in the order that didn't yield the correct number of points?

    Week 4

    Cloth shaders - gingham
    UltruMarine Ocean
    Autumn Picnic
    Snow Day for Autumn Picnic
    Ryub-a-dub bundle
    Bundle 4
    Country dining room
    vengeful spirit

As it stands, I have 4 of 6 products of tier 2 for week 4. Am I missing something?

Thanks for the link - it helps to know what counts!

You have 8 products, so you should have completed Tier 1 and have 2 points toward Tier 2.

I completed Tier 1 and have 4 of 6 products for Tier 2 (got a couple of products today) - so, how many points would it take to equal 6 products or is it the same? I got confused when points stopped showing up for Tier 1.

    6 for tier 1, 12 for tier 2 (that is, 6 more after completing tier 1 )

    OK - that helps.
    Thanks for clarifying!
