When newly created JCM's are saved, controller link is missing.

When I create JCMs by overwriting existing JCMs, I can save them and they work fine.  However when I create brand new JCMs by creating the morph and ERC linking them to the joint, they work fine in the original scene, but when I save out the asset as a figure/prop asset, and then save the morph as a support asset, when the clothing item is applied to a new character the morphs exist but the controller information linking them to the joint is missing and the morph doesn't move with the joint.  

How do I save this out properly?

The part circled in red is what is missing when the morph is saved.

    ERC links save with either the controller or the sub-component. I suspect in this case they are set to save with the controller, but that isn't saved after the creation of the link. You can see, and chnage, which property owns the link in the Property Hierarchy pane

    Did you manage to make it save because its not working for me. 

    The save with atribute is set to the jcm itself
