Resolved - Frosty Character texturs.

Recently several of my helpdesk requests are just closed with no response as resolved. I'm not sure what the intent is, but it gives the impression that they don't really offer support. I have finally got the message that DAZ offers no manuals or support for it's software and content. So I know that I have to figure stuff out on my own. But sometimes there are actual errors or bugs in the content. If I send a helpdesk request, it is closed without response. If I submit a bug report, it will get fixed in a couple of years. So I'm not sure if my bug report helped, or went into a black hole.
I am working 50 hours a week and going to grad school. I would rather spend my free time rendering that tracking down bugs.
My latest issue is that the Frosty snowman from daz does load it's textures right. When I try to find the readme it leads to page not found. If I submit to helpdesk. It will just be closed without a response.
So my last hope is the kindness of the daz customers and skillful moderators. The textures do not load with the older character, so I loaded them in manually, but the eyes still do not load. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks a million to all the awesome people in the forums that help us.
The solution is to go to the pose section and click on the Frosty P4 material

One, this is an older product dating back to the P4/PPP/P5 days. There should be an actual readme from the vendor included with the product.
This is a PA product so you should contact the vendor regarding any issues.
Since this product was designed for use in older versions of Poser, it's files will to the runtime folder rather than the content folder. It's paths will be absolute because that is how Poser required them back in those days.
Any textures or material settings will need tweaking in DS because Poser and DS do not handle surface settings in the same way.
I don't know if this product has been updated with metadata. If it hasn't, it won't show in smart content but in the regular content tab. When you locate the mat pose files in the pose folder, chose the files that list PPP. This is for Poser ProPack. P4 files use .bum files instead of jps for bump maps. PPP use jpgs. P5 files may use procedural materials in the Poser materials room that don't work in DS.
