Looking for a 3D moon with lunar texture to use in Bryce 7. The only thing I could find were in some bundles which would require me to buy lots that I don't need. I thought there should be a material to wrap sphere with in Bryce but the closest I cld find was "luna" which looks like a moon for another planet. Any suggestions?

Not sure how well this would transfer using the Bridge ... perhaps someone has used this in Bryce?

Thanks I am hoping someone with experience with this product will respond. I need this to also export the phases since I need a 1/4 moon phase.

I am still trying to create my own moon in Bryce using spheres. One big problem is creating a quarter moon from those spheres. Does anyone know how to do that?

When rendering animations in Bryce I get jerky render like this one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQlnKvCewLE

How can I get Bryce to render smoothly?

    Increase your frame rate.

It looks like you're shooting with a frame rate of... 5 frames a second (5fps). Good for contextual reference, not good for broadcast, which require at least 24fps (movies), 25fps (PAL television), or 30fps (NTSC television, YouTube).

    File > Animation Setup...

Find the 'FPS' box. enter a value of 24 or higher. Tick.

Let me anticipate your next question, which will be something like:

Thank you, thank you, thank you Oro, for all the help you've kindly donated to me in this forum! The motion is smooth now (THANKS!) but the colors are not smooth. How can I improve this?

    Answer: Two things.

    1) Export document sizes should be EXACTLY 640 x 360 pixels (360p), 1280 x 720 pixels (720p) or 1920 x 1080 pixels (1080p).

    2) When you export your movie, avoid low quality. Click Output Module: Edit and change some settings. This is my Mac default below. If you want a compressed format, try H.264 at 80-90% quality.
