With DIM running click on the Settings (gear icon) top right corner, expose the Downloads tab to see all the options available
I got that.. but I have 600 product updates (another gift from DIM)
not finding anything that starts with daz
I could be installed but there's 9000 items there .. is it just dazstudio 4.11 or beta something?
I think it's gone but want to give it a good check.
I believe it is called "DAZ Studio 4.11 (Win 64-bit) Public Build +Beta+"
If you can't find that then make sure your download filters include DS4.5+ and Win64 (or Mac or Win32 depending on your system) and Public Build.
thanks
everything was checked except carrara 7 windows 32, mac 32 and 64 and public build...
publishing build is checked (whatever that is)
but how did I ever have a beta build if it wasn't checked?
... although I think DIM WIT has updated a couple of times.
and duh,, any idea if that will be in the updates or products (can't download until late tonight with my free time.
if you already havea copy downloaded/installed it should be in Updates.
I have a public build folder .. that has apparently lost it's mind or at least it's exes...
---
I did think how embarrassing if it was listed in installed or ready to install but in none of them (would be nice if if was .. even it meant I was an idiot.. but it's not)
----
I'm wondering if I need to remove the public build folder and any other references to public build in the lo memory roaming etc folders|
Those folders should not have any bearing. If you click the Download Filters button on the Ready to Download tab which options are checked?
in response to Melanies comment.. I checked and Public build was not checked so I checked it..
refreshed dim...
the four gray shots are what DIM had showing...
but just went back and Public Build was unchecked
selected it again and trying again.
---
the folder I showed was the current state of the folder named Public Build within the Daz folder in the Program Folder.
so unless that's installed by the regular installer .. I did have a public build there once.
---
new shot of download filters showing public build checked accept has been selected.. hopefully it will work this time.
OK it's happy decided to show Public build this time. will have to download tonight on the free time...
and the nice little yellow highlights are there.
-----
just in passing .. if they listen to you.. It would be nice to that the build number attached to the studio files... is the Daz 4.10 in my dim the same one as the current download offered?
the DIM works in wonderous ways.. I currently have over 600 product updates to download that all have matching build dates to the installed folders...
---
one month when I had the extra bandwidth left
I acually downloaded all 765 (21.8 gigs) of them... and they disappeared.. didn't have to install them because they were installed so they disappeared into the ozone I guess.
now they're back .. we're not going to do anything but
how can item have a package date of 2015 an order date of 2017 and install date of 2018 and need an upgrade dated 2015?
---
I think I submitted a ticket of this one way back when
ON the other hand .. with thousands of products DIM is the only real answer and if it's not the greatest it's the best horse in the race.
