How do I use items like HMS Victory?

Just bought and installed HMS Victory https://www.daz3d.com/hms-victory but it does NOT show up under props. The only place I'm finding it in any way is Vehicles-->Materials.
Can someone please clue me in here? Point me to a tutorial about using this type of item, etc...
Thank you in advance, and best regards.

Well, timing is everything... found it under products, so if an admin wants to delete this thread, I will not be offended. On the other hand, perhaps someone else will find this useful, and if another member feels like discussing details of working with objects like this, cool. (Still trying to understand elements like furling sails, etc.)
If the creator of this prop sees this, or someone knows how to contact them, I have a request: all of the cannons are moveable, individual props, EXCEPT the deckside cannons - is it possible to release a version where even the deckside cannons are manipulable? Please?
This is a really old item, released in 2007. I really doubt there will be any update now, but you could submit a ticket and get the official answer from Daz

Can't check now, but if the deckside cannons have their own mat zone, you could make them invisible and duplicate or instance a number of cannons. (Or you can use the geometry editor to create a new material zone, if there isn't one already)
If you need to find a product that you've bought (older, Poser content often likes to play hide and seek), go to the Content Library tab and choose Products at the top level. That leads you to an alphabetical list of products from which you should be able to find the one you want. Once you find the element you want, right-click it and choose "show in mapped folder" - that will navigate you to the folder in which it was hidden.
I hadn't seen these replies until now, so thank you. As I have been recently becoming more familiar with using the surfaces tab, I toyed with making the deckside cannons invisible... unfortunately, their wooden platforms are linked with other wood on the ship, so, instead of making them invisible, I used a different shader/texture on them to make them look nicer, and I'm in the process of replacing all of the independant cannon props with a different cannon. In the story I'm writing to use this, I can kind of cheat and say the deckside cannons look more fake/odd for show/misdirection, while the other cannons will deploy in their more glorious appearance.
No offense to the creator of this HMS Victory prop, as it was nice at its time and was clearly made for distance shots, but I will probably end spending the couple of hundred dollars elsewhere to buy a much nicer version - however, I'm not so sure any of the other, nicer versions have the rigged cannons or a complete set of rigged cannons.
Thank you, that is exactly what I did, then I saved it as a scene so as not to have to bother with it again.
Yup I agree it's not made for close ups, and interior shots, but I still think it's nice for distance renders;)
Converted to aweSurface:
Are you converting everything in your scenes with awe at this point?
What skydome and water prop did you use here?
Here's a couple of quick renders I just did to show some of the texture replacements I've done on it, as well as cannon replacement (in progress):
Yup, the standard 3DL shaders are not compatible.
Hm not sure about the sky...I think it was an HDRI by agent unawares. The ocean prop I got with a product not available in the DAZ store anymore, it's called waves on the beach by Nerd3D over at Hivewire. Not sure I'm allowed to add the link, but you should find it with their search engine.
Nice
Thanks, I've had that in my shopping cart over there for awhile. Almost bought it yesterday, but instead bought aniMate2, iREAL Animated Ocean Water System, and Breaking Waves here, as they were all on a pretty decent sale - while Waves on the Beach was not. Will still probably buy it at some point - I need a waves solution, as I have surfing scenes, and would like to animate some of them - I also already have FLUIDOS and FLUIDOS presets: Waves, which can probably take care of any water needs I have, but I still have to take a day (or however long) to really learn how to use it (same with awe). Just now saw that FLUIDOS II has been released with a slick introductory price of $119.95. Perhaps when I learn how to properly use fluidos, I will find II worth the price, but I do wish he would make a better idiot's user's guide (I'm a big fan of step by step guides - especially considering if one person takes 8 hours to make one it saves other users hundreds if not thousands of hours in the learning process).
Based on your render, I guess it's safe to say that Waves on the Beach is still a very usable item with the higher quality renders of today vs when it was released.
Well I certainly use it a lot. The water prop has some really nice ripple morphs and ships with some animated loopable presets. And there's the wave tool which is deformer based but very easy to use (and animate). A couple of breaking waves presets included. The beach prop is really nothing special though. Found this awe testrender where I used the wave tool: (HDRI by AgentUnawares, tks mate!)
