Having trouble while rendering a particular scene

Hello guys,

I have a big issue with Daz3d...
It's about a scene with this element and of course a car with no passenger... I tried to render it twice overnight but nothing came through...
My specs: 32G Ram, 1 SSD, i8 and Nvidia 1050Ti (windows10 pro)

I don't know what else should I do :(

I do not have that product, but I remember another thread mentioning that it had many instances and could use a lot of memory. So my guess is you're running out of memory.

In your render settings you are not showing 'Optimisation. In there there is an option for instancing with speed or memory. If it is at speed you can try to change it to memory and see if that solves it.

If not you could start hide items not in view of the camera to reduce load.

Since it hasn't actually started rendering I think it's probably the setting felis mentions, at the moment it's set for speed and as a result it is trying to upload too much data.

Harpwood Trail, on its own, is a massive set and uses a lot of memory, and adding Forest Drive makes it worse.

Remove as much of it as you can, then reduce the texture sizes for everything else that's left as much as you can, using https://www.daz3d.com/scene-optimizer or manually with a paint programme.

There will be other things you can do to reduce the memory load, but those are the most effective, and as Felis noted, change the optimisation setting to MEMORY for any scene that uses instances.

    Hi guys,

Sorry so much I didn't reply before today and to be honest... I didn't know where was the notification and I never received any email from Daz than my post was accepted, posted and even answered lol

I just figure it out right now by clicking on the gear icon.

So I did what felis said and it worked very well for a render without a skydome and lights... The problem is when I tried to render the same scene with a skydome and sunlight... I had the picture attached to this post rendered. Just a black picture with some hardly visible shadow. Is this a result of my lack of memory?

If it's a 3Delight Skydome, it will block Iray light.

Another mystery solved... Thanks, man. (I feel dumber though for asking such a stupid question lol)

The Chinese Proverb reads, “He who asks a questions remains a fool for five minutes. He who does not ask remains a fool forever.”

The HDRI Environment is kind of Iray's equivalent of a skydome. Not exactly the same, but it serves the same purpose and renders faster. Just search for HDRI Maps(or environments) and you're bound to find something that fits your scene. Happy rendering!

Thanks a lot, Kitsumo. I appreciate it!
