Black featureless Toon character or with features. Like Lenore, but shaded black. Or is there already one in the store?

What about just putting a black texture on Lenore?

can you apply a 3delight material to a character and render it in it IRAY... that'll take all the feature right out of it... I did it to make "Shadow Armor" Looks awesome especially when I put two glowing green eyes in the skeleton... OMG my D&D players almost lost it...

Not sure about that, but if I try Iray material in 3delight, it shuts my system down. Years ago for a high-level sewer incursion, I made a rather "warped" version of a Beholder: Behinder, Sphere of Many Rears, Ass Tyrant, Elderberry Orb, Hindsighter, etc., which was capable of spewing different gases in a cone from it's large central "rear-end" and its 10 "butt-stalks"(which each also had 2 legs that could deal kicking/stampede damage). I was considering trying to make it in Daz, but(no pun intended) I would probably have to do it from scratch and is probably well beyond my 3d modeling skills. If I recall correctly, one of the key defenses against its breath weapons was a higher level variation of Zone of Sweet Air.

  • Thanks for the suggestions. Regarding Iray. I don't have system nor vid card to support it.

  • Creating a featureless toon character, especially in a black silhouette style, is a great way to focus on form and movement rather than intricate details. This approach is often seen in minimalist art and animation, where the lack of features allows the character to become more symbolic and universally relatable.

    How to Approach It:

    1️⃣ Silhouette Design:

    • Start by defining the overall shape of your character. With a featureless, black character, the silhouette needs to be strong enough that the character remains recognizable even without facial features or distinguishing marks.
    • Focus on using simple, bold shapes—for example, circular or angular body shapes work well to create a clean and memorable silhouette.

    2️⃣ Use of Negative Space:

    • Without facial features, you can emphasize body language and pose to convey emotion and personality. Play around with the negative space around the character to make their movements and actions more expressive.
    • You can also play with outlines to suggest a form while keeping the character solid black.

    3️⃣ Animation/Expression:

    • If you're animating this character, make sure their movements are exaggerated enough to communicate personality—consider using webtoon-inspired exaggerated poses and transitions for extra flair.

    Why It Works Well:**

    • This approach is often used in projects like abstract animations or conceptual art, where the focus is less on the specifics of the character and more on their role in the story or environment. It’s also effective in instructional illustrations (like BlackToon-style webtoons) where simplicity and clarity are key.

Would you like more specific tips or examples of similar character designs?"**
