Genesis 8 texture on genesis 2 character

Is it possible to use a genesis 8 skin texture on a genesis 2 character?

    Of-hand, I don't think so. Hopefully someone else may say otherwise.

    I do, however, convert G2 to G8. There are some great G2 textures and I find using G8 easier than G2.

    Sure, the G8 UVs are almost indentical to the G3 ones, so load up the texture you want on G8 and save it as a material preset. Then use this product https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-3-uvs-for-genesis-2-female-s and apply the material preset you saved and there you go.

    Thanks FSMCDesigns for the help.  I got the product and tried it out.  The figure on the left is G2F with G8F Alondra texture.  The one on the right is the Alondra character.  I had to use a different G2F character's eyelashes.
