Can the crab dance?

How well can the crab be posed? Can it be posed to do a musical number such as “Under the Sea” or “Kiss the Girl”? Wait is there any texture templates so I can make him red?

crabs walk sideways
we all know crabs are stingey and love moneyy
I had a case of crabs once. Way too small to eat.
Just picked him up. Been wanting a decent crab for some time. Don't know about dancing but pretty posable. No eye-stalks or mandibles, but so it goes. No included templates but upon exporting out as an OBJ, there is a UV of course, but the logical parts are separate so would be easy to make & paint your own.
Thanks for the info I was wondering if he was pose able or not. I wondered if the bird props can be posed as well. it does say nothing about being able to pose them in the descriptions
Though for a good toon style crab you can go wrong with 3DU toon crab :)

The crab was the only item of interest for me but the lack of mandibles and other facial features is pretty sad, as that's pretty much all a crab has to express emotion (built a stop motion one many years ago.) This looks more like a statue of a crab rather than a real one. .
crabs dance, but lobsters rock!

Video Rock Lobster
Wow... XD
crabby patties?
lol we dating ourselves
you know it gf
I, too, would like to know how articulated the crab and the birds are. The skeletal parot looked ideal for posing with a vampiric pirate creature, but the description made no mentioned of articulation. So, it was too risky to purchase, in case it was a static prop.
Wanted to get "Mysterious Island" on Blu-ray just for that sequence, but it was like $70.
True about the lack of "fiddly features", but I'm wanting it for a storyboard piece so can work around that.
Or get ambious & just make those (be pretty easy acually) as I'll be taking this into Lightwave anyway.
Make soup! Surely you've heard of chicken soup with lice?
If you have the old DVD, you can sidegrade a HD streaming version for $5 at VUDU. I've been slowly converting all my RH films to streams and registering them on Movies Anywhere so I can watch them on my Kindle while on planes. Just did the Sinbad trilogy and the new conversions are spectacular. Now if they'd only do a streaming version of When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth.
Ah, memories.... LOL
Not that the crab doesn't look really nice, but it looks odd without the eye stalks and such ;).

The toon crab has eyes stalks . but its a toon crab..lol
Oh yes they can!
if yo momma dont dance and yo daddy dont rock n roll
Man, I haven't heard that song in over 40 years...
is catchie tune.
Yea, Polygonal Miniatures does brilliant work but most of their stuff is all static. Their 7 Cicada Collection looks really nice but all static. No wing movement, or legs or antenna! This makes me sad!
The bird collection looks nice, esp the owl but nope, all static props.
Would have been nice to perhaps have at least head, beak and eye blink morphs for them just to give them SOME personality! LOL
Hi, The crab is rigged basic. All limbs can move (there are different meshes for each part so there's no stretching). Also the claws can be opened. I'll look into creating better features, descriptive renders in future products...
hope this helps!

It's pretty common on some beaches to have a crab pinch your toe or foot or to come up on the end of your fishing line trying to steal your bait. I love watching fiddler crabs run around the beaches.
If they were that small, how many fit in the case?
I think they're measured in volume, not individually.
Has anyone come up with move textures or remedied the missing bits?
