Wood floor made in maya doesn't display well in Daz

I made a wood floor in maya where each board has a geometry. There's 14 different boards that share a single uv. When I export it in daz3d and render, the boards don't take light as if they were flat, even tho the top of the board is a single quad. Here's a comparaison of a render in maya and one in daz3d. Is there a way I can fix this?

Try turning smoothing off, or adjusting the smoothign angle, in the Surfaces pane. Note, however, that doing so will make the edges split if to apply displacement. Usually such edges would get a bevel with a small radius. Another option would be to convert to SubD and then apply edge wighting at a fairly high value to all of the edgs (using the Geometry Editor tool).

Huge thank you! Turning off smoothing did the trick :P
