Labeling products based on render engine / functionality instead of software?

    And all of that would just confuse the hell out of the novices and probably mid-level users too. And I don't understand the need to know which render engine the product works in? Reality 3 for Poser is designed to convert Poser files to work in LuxRender, and I've run into very few products that LuxRender had any problems with.

    Actually, I would find all those gradations of description confusing, and I'm hardly a novice. DAZ can't tailor this stuff to the very high end, advanced user, because novices likely make up the majority of the customer base, or at least a huge percentage of it.
